From the Moon!
Last Friday night, the staff at Four Moons had the
opportunity to demonstrate how enjoyable and affordable summertime wines can
be. April's wine event featured the light and fruity wines of the
Mediterranean. Guests were able to sample white wines from Italy and Greece, a
rose from Provence, France, and Spanish reds. Chef Zeran's Mediterranean-themed
appetizers were a perfect accompaniment.
We invite you to consider these selections as an alternative
to the usual Chardonnay or Merlot when preparing for your next warm-weather
get-together. We think you'll find them to be both fun and
refreshing!
2006 Masciarelli Trebbiano--a touch of sweetness, with
excellent fruit; from Italy
2006 Fuedi di San Gregorio Falanghina--a dry and refreshing
wine of Southern Italy
2006 Nasiakos Moschofilero--an excellent Greek white wine
with a lemony finish--the evening's favorite!
2007 Chateau Latour L'Eveque Petal de Rose--a light, delicate
aperitif-style rose from France
2006 Altos de la Hoya--a 'knock-out' red wine from Spain;
perfect with any grilled foods
2005 Seis Tempranillo--a classic Spanish red wine at a great
price!
So if you missed the tasting, don't despair--come by Four Moons Wine and Gourmet and
our excellent staff will help you make your summer evenings more memorable with
wine selections from the sunny Med.
